Your videos are not open to the world unless you specifically set a permission. There are over 120,000 videos on the entire server, you are only seeing a small portion.
The "Everything" folder displays videos for which you have permission to view, including your own videos. Videos that display in this folder include:
- Videos you have recorded
- Videos shared with a group for which you are a member or you specifically
- Videos with permissions, "Anyone can find and access"
- Videos with permissions, "Anyone at your org can find and access"
When you record a video within a course, the default permission for the video is set to "Only specific people and groups". Panopto assigns viewing rights to members of your Blackboard course. However, you are able to change the video's permissions.
When other user's videos display in the "Everything" folder, the permissions on the video have been set to "Anyone can find and access" or "Anyone at your org can find and access", which includes you.
