Faculty can add additional tools to the course's menu (e.g. Discussion Board, Email, Wikis...)
Step 1
Locate and select the Add Menu Item (a circle with a plus) icon, located at the top of the black navigation menu

Select Tool Link
Step 3
Title the tool in the Name field (e.g. Discussion Board)
Step 4
Select the correct tool from the Type drop-down menu (e.g. Discussion Board)
Step 5
Place a check in the Available to Users checkbox if you want the students to see the tool on the menu
Step 6
Select Submit
Step 7
Drag and drop the tool where you want it in the black menu
