An assignment folder gives students the ability to record and upload videos to the assignment folder. Students will not be able to see any other videos in the folder. However, directions for allowing viewers to see each other's videos are also available.
Creating an Assignment Folder

Enter your course
Step 2
Select Panopto Recordings
Step 3
Select the Settings button (gear icon) top right of the screen
Step 4
Locate and select Create Assignment Folder
The folder name will be the same as the course code with [assignments] at the end.
Allow viewers to see each other's videos
Step 1
Select the folder (course-code [assignments])
Step 2
Select the Settings button (gear icon) top right side of the screen
Step 3
Select Settings in the left menu
Step 4
Place a check to the left of Allow viewers to see each other's sessions
Step 5
Select the X to close the settings popup.
