If a student is getting a close PowerPoint.exe error when trying to run Respondus Lockdown Browser, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Step 1
Fully power-down the computer.
Reboot the computer.
Verify no browsers nor apps are running.
Step 2
Remove all PowerPoint add-ons or plugins from all browsers and apps.
Step 3
Restart Respondus Lockdown Browser and take the test.
Step 4
If you continue to see the warning, take note of the full name of the process that LockDown Browser is trying to shut down.

Exit LockDown Browser

Hold down the "CTRL", "ALT", and "DELETE" keys on your keyboard at the same time, the Windows Task Manager opens

End any programs Office365 programs related to powerpoint.exe
